DESCRIPTION:What is this event?\nRope doesn’t begin in the air.\nBefore suspensions, before complex structures, there is movement. There is breath, tension, positioning, rhythm, and the subtle dialogue that happens between bodies through rope.\nRope: Movement & Floorwork Workshop is dedicated to exploring how rope can become a tool for communication, connection, and intentional movement — not just a way to apply bondage patterns.\nTogether, we will focus on the foundations of movement-based tying. What to expect to learn:\n🪢 Micro-movementsSubtle ways to adjust tension, positioning, and body placement.\n🪢 TransitionsMoving between sitting, laying, kneeling, and prone positions with more clarity and security.\n🪢 ConnectionExploring the intimacy and communication between rigger and model.\n🪢 Body mechanicsLearning efficient movement patterns that reduce strain and create smoother handling.\nThis workshop is less about “performing ties” and more about learning how rope can shape interaction, presence, and shared experience.\n\nTo attend this event, you need to have attended a Consent Workshop or be vetted by someone from our community through the InFLUX code-sharing system.If you’re new and someone is bringing you along using their InFLUX code, you can learn how this works here ( https://influx.events/influx-code-sharing-a-new-way-to-bring-trusted-people-in/ ).\nThis event will be bilingual, in Romanian and English. The workshop will be held in English if any English speakers are attending. If not, the workshop will be held in Romanian.\n📝 We confirm attendance 24 hours before the start of the event at the latest. Please register at least one day before the start of the event.\nWhat happens at the event?\nSchedule with breaks:\n🕖 16:00 pm – 16:30 pm – Registration\n🕢 16:30 pm – 20:00 pm – Workshop*\n*the workshop will include additional shorter breaks.\nPlease be on time so as not to disturb other participants and make the most of the practice time. Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up, and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.\nOur phone number is +40723258105 ( https://wa.me/40723258105 ) and you can write to us on WhatsApp ( https://wa.me/40723258105 ) before the door closing time.\nWho can come?\nThis workshop is beginner-friendly.\nPrevious rope experience is a bonus, but not required.People with knowledge of single column ties, basic harnesses, frictions, safe communication practices may find some exercises easier to navigate, but complete beginners are welcome too.\nThe workshop is especially suitable for:\n– established tying pairs or couples\n– people wishing to deepen their topping/rigging skills\n– bottoms/models wanting to better understand movement, communication, and participation in rope\nParticipation with a partner is encouraged, but not mandatory.\nWhat are you wearing?\nWear something comfortable, like sports pants, leggings, or tights.\nWhat are you bringing? \n📤 Please bring your InFLUX card. Access to this event requires that you have either attended a Consent Workshop or have been vetted through the InFLUX code-sharing system. We will check this at the entrance.\nWe follow a BYO (Bring Your Own) approach for drinks and snacks at InFLUX. Water, tea, and coffee are always available, and you’re welcome to bring your own soft drinks, snacks, or little treats for the evening.
