SUMMARY:Three Ropes TK Workshop & Rope Jam
DESCRIPTION:What is this event?\nThis workshop continues on last week’s workshop. Nevertheless, you can still attend even if you didn’t come last week.\nThe takate kote, or TK for short is one of the most famous patterns in Shibari. It is the starting point of many suspensions, but also one of the most difficult ties to learn in an efficient and safe manner. Using the knowledge acquired during our previous workshops (see requirements), we will learn how to tie a two-rope TK, and this week, we will learn how to add the third rope, making it even more suitable for suspension.\nIn the second part of the event, the Jam, you can practice and try all the ties you want. We encourage you to socialize, have fun, and tie, tie, tie!\nIf you would rather skip the Workshop, you can join us during the break between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm for the Rope Jam only.\nTo attend this event, it is mandatory that you have attended a Consent Workshop.\nThis event may be bilingual:\n➜ 🇷🇴 The Workshop will be held in Romanian.\n➜ 🇬🇧 The Jam may be English-friendly since there are English-speaking people in our community, but we cannot guarantee that they will attend the event.\n📝 We confirm attendance 24 hours before the start of the event at the latest. Please register at least one day before the start of the event.\nWhat happens at the event?\nSchedule with breaks\n🕟 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Registration\n🕔 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Workshop\n🕗 8:00 pm – 8:30 pm – Break\n🕣 8:30 pm – 00:30 pm – Rope Jam\nPlease be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time. You can find information on how to reach us here or here.\nThere are many parking spaces in the area, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.\nTake the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.\nOur phone number is +40723258105, and you can write to us on WhatsApp before the door-closing time.\nWho can come?\nAttendees should already have an understanding of rope safety guidelines and be able to comfortably execute a Single or Double Column Tie. While not required, it’s helpful to have some knowledge of X and L-frictions.\nWe recommend you come to this workshop with someone you can play with in order to learn as much as possible. Nevertheless, don’t be set back by the lack of a partner. You most certainly could meet somebody with whom to vibe at the event!\n🎫 Fill in the form below to register for this workshop.
