InFLUX is a home to many. It's a success story for those who society doesn't want to talk about. It is a hub where creative ideas come to life, people connect, and get a chance to discover or rediscover their sexuality, their relationships, and new passions. We hope to keep it going as smoothly as it has until now.

Our Journey

The story of InFLUX starts in 2018, when we bought a space with all of our savings huddled together, and started planning on how to bring it to life. We had a hope of creating a safer space for people who want to learn, grow and express their true selves without fear of judgment.

We were too tired of spaces that would reject us for who we are or what we are into. We were too tired of moving from place to place only to encounter more challenges and judgments. We were also tired of spaces that welcomed us, but did not care much for our safety and comfort.

We don't claim to be perfect, but we always strive to improve and feel like a real home for the deviants. For the rebels. For those who refuse to conform at the price of their own truth.

It is a space that is privately owned, in an industrial building that insures privacy and no sneaky neighbors. It is owned by queer, non-conformists and rebels, so you will never have to worry about an uncomfortable raised eyebrow when you join us. It is the labor of 5 years of love and desire for community. Be it kinky, ropey, non-monogamous, queer, all deviants are welcome to join us. And so far hundreds have done so. We hope for hundreds more!

Kitty Rea

General purpose pervert

Sexologist. Explicit coach. Alternative intimacy and relationships educator.

Kitty Rea is a certified relationship coach and an internationally accredited sexologist, with years of experience in community organizing. She has been teaching about sexuality, BDSM and non-monogamy for more than 5 years. Opening InFLUX is her way of giving back to the communities that nurtured her and taught her. She hopes that InFLUX will be the place that opens doors and minds for others who might feel lost and alone as she once felt. She might feel hard to approach, but approach her anyway - she isn't an ice-queen, she just has terrible social anxiety (even though you couldn't tell given how much she talks). She will be your best friend as long as you don't break the space rules and that's cause she loves rules the most.

Băje has been part of the Bucharest BDSM community since 2013. Shortly after joining the local scene, he discovered the exciting world of rope bondage, and started participating in workshops, first locally, and then internationally. Gradually, rope bondage became more than a kink, helping him overcome his shyness, and offering him the opportunity of meeting incredible people from around the world, and of sharing wonderful experiences with them. At InFLUX, he hopes to offer others the same opportunities, and cannot wait to discuss the technicalities of different ways to tie a single column tie with other rope enthusiasts.

Amarpas is a veteran of the community with nearly a decade of experience tying, creating connections, and leading workshops; she has created her own niche for play. Amarpas brings passion and solid knowledge with a no-nonsense approach to kink. At InFLUX she wants to help people find joy in expressing themselves and have fun while learning what kink is to them.

She is a feminist with an ever-open ear, a compassionate heart ready to listen, and the discerning eyes and ears that miss nothing—sharp as a hawk, keen as a fox. As Kitty's versatile educational prop, Lulu is dedicated to strengthening the community, fostering new relationships, and challenging maladaptive stigmas and practices. Her artistry shines in her ability to weave knowledge with understanding, turning InFLUX into a canvas of continuous learning and growth.

Coffee enthusiast and gadget fanatic, passionate about photography and the representation of the human body, with an interest in philosophy and psychology, George is keen on experiencing, analyzing, and deconstructing power dynamics both theoretically and through lived experiences. Fascinated by all forms of sexual expression, he sees this as one of the fundamental dimensions through which we uniquely express our humanity. At Influx, he facilitates events for alternative relationship styles and is responsible for the creation and development of the InFlux website.
