Rope Work
coming back in autumn 2024!

It has been two weeks since the unconference that brought together teachers, community organizers, and performers, in Bucharest. The team of InFLUX is so grateful for every single participant who made Rope Work 3 the welcoming, sharing, and emotionally open space that it has been.

While this unconference will be a traveling one and we hope that future editions are held in many new places that we ourselves can’t wait to visit, Rope Work 4 will still be in Bucharest. Partly because we hope you all will get to see Romania out of the freezing cold and in a warmer version, but also because we wanted to make planning for it a bit more efficient and give ourselves enough time to get the word out.

When is the Rope Work 4 taking place?

We very much look forward to welcoming back last editions participants, but also many new faces from the international scene who would love to share their experience in organising rope events, teaching bondage, and performing with rope on stage. We hope to inspire new rope scene members to get involved and make things happen but also to bring together more empathy, kindness, and tools for handling the mental side of things.

For now, we are looking at dates in September or October 2024 for Rope Work 4. As soon as new dates are settled, we will announce them and then we will start the process of applications for the next edition. We cannot wait to see what the next edition brings us and we are super excited to create our own little hub where we as performers, teachers, or organizers, can feel understood and held.
