InFLUX has been bringing you the beauty of life drawing for the past year, but we have a special surprise for you just in time for the holiday season. If you are passionate about art and want to practice your drawing skills, you already know what a challenge and a blessing a life drawing session is. Lots of the artists who come into our space share with us the hurdle of drawing and studying real people for their art.
In a world bustling with digital screens and fast-paced lifestyles, it’s hard to immerse yourself in the beauty that is a simple human body. That is why we were so thrilled when Still-Hypatia offered to host The Life Drawing Workshop.
A Truly Unique Opportunity
We couldn’t be more thrilled about this edition of The Life Drawing Workshop because this edition will have a nude model. This is a rare opportunity to explore the vulnerability of the human body as it is. It is also a chance to connect to a different kind of emotional experience as an artist, especially since this isn’t an academic or a school setting. We are not here to judge your art or to believe there is a better way than the one that fits you. We are here to share an open and emotional experience.
And in order for everyone to be comfortable and to feel at ease opening up in the space and letting the instruments do the talking, we kindly ask you to respect the following rules. This will ensure that everyone leaves with a smile on their faces and more confident than when they walked in.

These rules are designed to create a safe and respectful atmosphere for everyone involved:
For the safety of the model:
- We avoid making explicit comments about the model’s body.
- We respect the model’s personal space and belongings.
- We understand that the model is human and may need to move or adjust.
For the safety of the participants:
- We respect others’ privacy and consent.
- We refrain from offering unsolicited feedback.
- We celebrate individuality and experimentation.
