π InFLUX Is Now on ShibariMap
17 October, 2025A story of courage, curiosity, and community
The story of InFLUX began in 2018, when a small group of dreamers gathered their savings, their courage, and their longing for belonging determined to create a space where people could learn, grow, and express their true selves without fear of judgment.
It was never meant to be perfect, only real.
A home for the deviants. For the rebels. For those who refuse to conform at the price of their own truth. Queer-owned, non-conformist at its core, and built through years of love, effort, and evolution, InFLUX exists because of its community. Every person who walked through its doors has helped shape what it is today.
π€ From Halloween to Here
InFLUX opened its doors for the very first time on October 29, 2022, for a Halloween party that would mark the beginning of everything.
Since then, each year has been celebrated in the same spirit with masks, costumes, mischief, and the reminder that transformation can be both playful and profound.
This yearβs anniversary was no different.
The space was filled to the brim, a fully booked night where every corner came alive with laughter, creativity, and the unmistakable energy of the InFLUX community.
Guests arrived in dazzling variety, each costume a reflection of the beautiful diversity that defines this space. Among the many moments that made the night unforgettable were the performances of Kasia and Anastasia, whose energy and presence captivated everyone. A perfect blend of power, creativity, and desire.
And thanks to Ruxandra, whose photographs captured the magic, this night will be remembered not just as a party, but as a celebration of how far InFLUX has come.

β¨ Three Years in Motion
In just three years, InFLUX has hosted over 350 events, welcomed more than 8,000 RSVPs, and guided over 1,000 participants through its Consent Workshop, the foundation of everything that happens here.
It has become a hub for learning, exploration, and connection, bringing together voices from across the world. International educators such as Andrea Ropes & Chiara Fenice, Haag with Kissiae & Ten, Asiana & Door, Saara Rei & Carnivore, Roxu & Ena, and The Matriarch Ezada Sinn have all shared their knowledge under our roof.
Together with Haag, InFLUX co-hosted two editions of Rope Work, a convention dedicated to rope educators, performers, and community builders from across Europe.
Beyond ropes and kink, the space has opened its doors to art, activism, and collaboration. From La Femme Fatale and Pride Week events by Accept, to the immersive installation βiRealβ by Camelia Rangu, theatre performances like βReguli de SupravieΘuireβ and βMiceliuβ, discussion panel by Iscoada, workshops by Vulgar, screenings by F-Sides Cineclub and Maria Marina, and hook suspensions, and the Romanian Professional Piercer convention by Modern Primitive.
Each gathering, workshop, and quiet conversation has added a new thread to this ever-evolving tapestry, woven with care, curiosity, and community.

π± The Values That Shape Us
Behind every workshop, performance, and gathering lies a set of values that guide how the community grows. The principles that shaped InFLUX from the start continue to hold it together today, quietly, steadily, and with care.
π€ Consent β The foundation of everything. Itβs not a contract, but an ongoing, mutual agreement built on care, communication, and choice.
π§ Fluidity β The name says it all. To be in flux is to stay open to change, growth, and transformation.
π₯ Pleasure β Consent is the baseline; joy is the goal. Everyone deserves to feel safe, curious, and empowered to explore.
π Inclusivity β Everyone is welcome, except those who donβt welcome everyone. Respect for identity and boundaries is essential.
βΏ Accessibility β The space keeps evolving to better support all bodies and minds, feedback is always encouraged.
π Sex-Positivity β A positive attitude toward sexuality and desire; never expected, always respected.
πΏ Body Neutrality β Every body is valid and deserving of comfort, regardless of shape, color, or form.
π€ Mediation β Growth through education and repair, not exclusion. Accountability over punishment.
βοΈ No Exceptions β Fairness and respect apply equally to everyone.

π Looking Ahead
Three years in, InFLUX remains what it set out to be; a place to learn, to play, to connect, and to come home to oneself. A place where change is constant, but the values stay steady: curiosity, care, and consent.
Its story is still being written by every person who steps through the door, every laugh shared, every rope tied, and every boundary respected.
To everyone who has been part of this journey: thank you for shaping this space and keeping it alive.
Hereβs to what comes next, and to staying beautifully, perpetually in flux. With gratitude and mischief,
The InFLUX Team
π InFLUX is built by the people who fill it.
