[RO] Ce este acest eveniment?

„(i)Real  este ca un număr imaginar pur. Este ceea ce rămâne dintr-un număr complex „z = a + b x i”, atunci când se îndepărtează partea reală “a”. E o sinteză a poveștii maternității neîmplinite. A maternității care devine o poveste ireală atunci când se îndepărtează partea sa tangibilă – copilul.” – spune Camelia Rangu.

Un proiect tulburător și vibrant deopotrivă. Este vorba despre un demers plastic inedit in care Camelia Rangu, artist vizual, își pune semnătura pe instalația imersivă intitulată „(i)REAL”. Instalația constă în amenajarea unui spațiu “in utero” oferind o experiență senzorială și emoționantă. Ea conține o lucrare de artă imersivă constând într-o fotografie dotată cu senzori care, atunci când este atinsă de public, spune povești ale mamelor care și-au pierdut copiii înainte de naștere.

Lucrarea face parte din proiectul „Mame cu brațele goale”, proiect care vorbește în spațiul public despre pierderea de sarcină, pornind de la nevoia acută ca acest subiect să depășească statutul de tabu, iar doliul asociat pierderii de sarcină să fie respectat și însoțit de comunitate. Acest proiect a început în septembrie 2021 ca un proiect artistic, educațional și social. În acest timp a adunat peste 100 de povești primite de la mame din toată țara și nu numai, a creat grupuri de suport pentru mame și dezbateri cu cadrele medicale pe tema comunicării și susținerii emoționale legate de acest eveniment dureros. Proiectul este realizat sub umbrela Asociației Sinaptica Mehedinți.

📝 Pentru a participa la vernisaj, pe 15 Octombrie, vă rugăm să completați formularul RSVP. Vă vom confirma înscrierea cu cel puțin 24 de ore înaintea evenimentului. Vă rugăm să vă înscrieți cu cel puțin o zi înaintea evenimentului. Dacă nu doriți să completați formularul de înscriere, însă doriți să participați la vernisaj vă așteptăm în data evenimentului, în locația noastră.

Ce se va întâmpla la acest eveniment?

Onorăm ziua de 15 octombrie instituită ca Ziua naţională de comemorare a copiilor decedaţi în timpul sarcinii, la naştere sau până la împlinirea vârstei de 18 ani și intitulată „Ziua Părinţilor de Îngeri’” prin legea 186/2024.

Program 15 Octombrie:

🕖 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Sosirea participanţilor
🕢 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm – Vernisaj și vizionarea instalaţiei

În ziua vernisajului vă puteți alătura evenimentului, pentru a viziona instalaţia, până la ora 22:30.

Instalaţia va fi disponibilă vizionării în perioada 16-25 Octombrie, de miercuri până duminică, in intervalul orar 17:00 – 21:00.  Accesul este gratuit.

Zona dispune de multe locuri de parcare, mai ales seara sau după ora 18.00. Stația de metrou de la „1 Decembrie 1918” este cea mai apropiată de noi și se află la doar 8 minute de mers pe jos.

Luați liftul mic (este în spatele scărilor mari de la parter) până la etajul 5, unde veți vedea semnul InFLUX. Dacă problemele de mobilitate vă împiedică să urcați un etaj de scări, puteți lua liftul mare, care vă va duce direct la ușa noastră, dar acesta este mult mai lent.

[EN] What is this event?

“(i)Real is like a pure imaginary number. It is what remains of a complex number “z = a + b x i” when the real part a is removed. It is a synthesis of the story of unfulfilled motherhood. Of motherhood that becomes an unreal story when its tangible part – the child – is removed.” – says Camelia Rangu.

A disturbing and vibrant project alike. It is about a novel plastic approach in which Camelia Rangu, a visual artist, puts her signature on the immersive installation entitled “(i)REAL”. The installation consists in setting up an “in utero” space offering a sensory and emotional experience. It contains an immersive artwork consisting of a photo equipped with sensors that, when touched by the public, tells the stories of mothers who have lost their babies before birth.

The installation is part of the “Mothers with empty arms” project, a project that talks about pregnancy loss in the public space, starting from the acute need for this topic to overcome the status of taboo, and for the mourning associated with pregnancy loss to be respected and accompanied by the community. This project started in September 2021 as an artistic, educational and social project. During this time, she collected more than 100 stories received from mothers from all over the country and beyond, created support groups for mothers and debates with medical professionals on the topic of communication and emotional support related to this painful event. The project is carried out under the umbrella of the Sinaptica Mehedinți Association.

What happens at the event?

We honor October 15, established as the national day of commemoration of children who died during pregnancy, at birth or up to the age of 18 and entitled “Day of Angelic Parents” by law 186/2024.

Schedule October 15th:

On the day of the opening, you can join the event, to view the installation, until 22:30.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 December 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up, and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.
