What is this event?

This is a speed dating event with ropes. The aim is not to find romantic partners, but rather to meet people that you can connect with in ropes, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation. You will be paired up with random people and have a set time to negotiate, tie and click. We want to make it easier for you to meet new people, connect with potential rope partners and enjoy the new connections by bonding further during the Rope Jam.

To attend this event, it is mandatory that you have attended a Consent Workshop.

📝 We confirm attendance 24 hours before the start of the event at the latest. Please register at least one day before the start of the event.

IMPORTANT! If you are attending the Rope Fundamentals: Frictions Workshop, you can join this event free of charge but we ask you to please fill out the RSVP for it, as the available spots will be limited and we need to know how many attendees we are expecting.

Please keep in mind that you will be paired up with people of all genders and all sexual orientations. The aim of this event is not to strictly find romantic or sexual partners, but to have fun, to share space and to get the opportunity to tie different people and see what connection can be created. Anyone can stop tying or getting tied at any point during the event if they start feeling uncomfortable for any reason.

Please be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time. We only accept on-time admissions to any workshops since you might miss important information.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.

Who can come?

You do not need a partner for this event, but feel free to bring anyone along if they have also participated in the Consent Workshop and RSVP’d to attend. You don’t even need your own ropes, we can provide you with some. No experience in tying is necessary.

What are you bringing? What are you wearing?

Wear something comfortable to tie in, like sports pants, leggings, or tights. If you wish to change you clothes for the Rope Jam, feel free to bring the outfit of your choice.

📤 Please bring your InFLUX card! The event requires that you have attended the Consent Workshop. We will check at the entrance if you have attended it.

Who organises this event?

Băje has been super passionate about ropes since 2013, participating in multiple workshops held in Romania or abroad by some of the most famous riggers.
