What is this event?

Have you ever wondered how you should take care of your jute rope? Or maybe you already know and have some ropes you want to treat, but didn’t have the time/motivation/space/resources/etc. to do it? Join this workshop, and let’s treat our precious ropes together!

During this workshop, we will learn how we can condition and maintain our jute ropes (breaking-in, singeing, oiling), as well as practice it on some of our community ropes. Afterwards, everyone can proceed to treat their own ropes or help us treat the community ropes.
We will provide the necessary materials for singeing and oiling (unless you want to use your own oiling product).

To attend this event, it is mandatory that you have attended a Consent Workshop.

IMPORTANT! If you wish to attend the Kink Jam event that will take place after this workshop, you can join free of charge but we ask you to please fill out the RSVP for it, as the available spots will be limited and we need to know how many attendees we are expecting.

Please be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time. We only accept on-time admissions to any workshops since you might miss important information.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.

This workshop is suited for anyone, no matter the skill level. Limited spots available.

What are you bringing? What are you wearing?

Ropes, if you got. If not, you can practice on the community ropes. Wear something comfortable, like sports pants, leggings, or tights.
