What is this event?

Looking for new rope partners? Curious to tie with different people and spark fresh connections? Rope Speed Dating is your chance to mingle, tie, and discover — all in one night.

This isn’t about romance. The focus is on rope: meeting new people, negotiating quickly, trying short ties, and enjoying the unique connections that only rope can create. You’ll rotate between partners of all genders and orientations, with time to negotiate, tie, and explore before moving on to the next match.

To attend this event, it is mandatory that you have attended a Consent Workshop.

🇷🇴🇬🇧 This event will be hosted in Romanian, but you will have the possibility to interact with people who speak English as well.

📝 We confirm attendance 24 hours before the start of the event at the latest. Please register at least one day before the start of the event.

What happens at the event?

🕓 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM – Registration
🕟 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Social time + Demo & Rules
🕡 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Rope Speed Dating games
🕡 11:00 PM – 12:30 AM – Rope hangout

Please keep in mind that you will be paired up with people of all genders and all sexual orientations. Anyone can stop tying or getting tied at any point during the event if they start feeling uncomfortable for any reason.

Please be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time. We only accept on-time admissions to any workshops since you might miss important information.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.

Who can come?

You do not need a partner for this event, but feel free to bring anyone along if they have also participated in the Consent Workshop and RSVP’d to attend. You don’t even need your own ropes, we can provide you with some. No experience in tying is necessary.

What are you bringing? What are you wearing?

Wear something comfortable to tie in, like sports pants, leggings, or tights. If you wish to change you clothes for the Rope Jam, feel free to bring the outfit of your choice.

📤 Please bring your InFLUX card! The event requires that you have attended the Consent Workshop. We will check at the entrance if you have attended it.

Who organises this event?

Băje has been super passionate about ropes since 2013, participating in multiple workshops held in Romania or abroad by some of the most famous riggers.

Amarpas (she/her/they/them) has been passionate about learning rope for almost a decade and discovered her passion for educating others over 5 years ago. She loves teaching people and being a reliable guide at the beginning of their journey.
