Rope Jam for Everyone!

Rope Jam for Everyone!

What is this event?

InFlUX is hosting its very first international rope unconference, which is Rope Work. So, we are very excited to open the doors for the local community to join some of the awesome international attendees through this Rope Jam, which is open to all. Whether you are coming to Rope Work or not, if tying is your passion, this Rope Jam is for you!

To attend this event, it is mandatory that you have attended a Consent Workshop.

This event will be bilingual.

📝 We confirm attendance 24 hours before the start of the event at the latest. Please register at least one day before the start of the event.

What happens at the event?

Schedule with breaks

🕖 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Registration
🕗 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm – Rope Jam

Please be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time.

How can you reach us?

Our address is Bulevardul Theodor Pallady 287. You can find information on how to reach us here or here.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up, and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.

Our phone number is +40723258105, and you can write to us on WhatsApp before the door-closing time.

Who can come?

Anybody interested in ropes and bondage is welcome to join us. Bring your ropes and try a tie, or just sit back and get inspired by the many cool ties you will have the chance to see during this encounter.

🎫 Fill in the form below to register for this workshop. You will receive an email confirmation, and we will keep you updated with information about the event. You will also receive an email reminder close to the event so you don’t miss it.

We reserve the right to select event participants.

What are you bringing? What are you wearing?

Since this is a bondage event, you can pick a more comfortable outfit, or you can go for something more glamorous. It’s up to you. Also, bring your ropes and props if you feel like putting together a scene. As always, our community ropes are also available for you to tie with.

📤 Please bring your InFLUX card! The event requires that you have attended the Consent Workshop. We will check at the entrance if you have attended it.

Who organizes this event?

This Rope Jam is part of the third edition of Rope Work. Kitty, Băje (InFLUX Studio), and Haag (Ellipsis Rope Events Foundation) were so impressed by their participation in the previous editions of Rope Work that they felt this event simply must happen again. It is not their concept, but they believe it is such an important event.

Haag

Haag (he/they) is a full time rope bondage teacher/organizer and runs the Ellipsis Rope Events Foundation based in Rotterdam (NL). He has hosted countless rope events varying from international workshops, performances, demonstrations, festivals and rope jams throughout the last decade. His background in event organization comes from his parents who ran a foundation focusing on events for their local community ranging from dance events, markets, dance events, and many, many more. Because of this he grew up in an environment where community work, volunteering and facilitating events was part of everyday life. At a later age he started hosting events for various communities himself and eventually found his way to the rope scene.
