What is this event?

During this workshop, we will go through a Face-Up Suspension together, using an upper body harness of your choice and a futomomo, the classic leg tie that every rigger should have in their toolbox. We will focus on the futomomo, discussing and exploring different placements and ways of using it in suspension.

In the second part of the event, the Jam, you can practice and try all the ties you want. We encourage you to socialize, have fun, and tie, tie, tie!

If you would rather skip the Workshop, you can join us during the 7:30 PM and 8 PM break for the Rope Jam only.

To attend this event, it is mandatory that you have attended a Consent Workshop.

This event may be bilingual:

Please be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time. We only accept on-time admissions to any workshops since you might miss important information.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up, and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.

Who can come?

For this workshop, attendees should already have an understanding of rope safety and be able to comfortably execute an upper body harness suitable for suspension, as well as basic knowledge for attaching and securing suspension lines on bamboos.

Who organizes this event?

This workshop will be taught by Băje (he) and Mia (she).

Băje has been super passionate about ropes since 2013, participating in multiple workshops held in Romania or abroad by some of the most famous riggers.

Mia has been an enthusiastic rope bottom for more than 5 years. She likes exploring different styles and approaches to rope, and loves being surrounded by people who enjoy tying and being tied.
