What is this event?

During this workshop, we will be getting very technical about suspension lines, learning about and practicing different techniques to safely attach them to existing structures and to lock them off. We will also go through some tips and tricks for better line management and finishing options.

To attend this event, it is mandatory that you have attended a Consent Workshop.

Please be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time. We only accept on-time admissions to any workshops since you might miss important information.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.

Who can come?

For this workshop, attendees should already have an understanding of rope safety and be able to comfortably execute a single column tie.
Although models are welcome to the event, we will have many weights available in the space, that we can use for this workshop, so uncoupled riggers are also welcome to join.

What are you bringing? What are you wearing?

Wear something comfortable, like sports pants, leggings, or tights. If you wish to attend the InFLUX Munch, bring your clothes with you and change after the workshop.

Who organizes this event?

This workshop will be taught by Băje (he) and Mia (she).
Băje has been super passionate about ropes since 2013, participating in multiple workshops held in Romania or abroad by some of the most famous riggers.
Mia has been an enthusiastic rope bottom for more than 5 years. She likes exploring different styles and approaches to rope, and loves being surrounded by people who enjoy tying and being tied.
