What is this event?

The week is done, now it’s time to switch gears… and pick up the rope.

If you’re looking for an easygoing way to spend a weekend evening, reconnect with familiar faces, and immerse yourself in rope without pressure, this is your place.

✨ The Rope Hangout is a relaxed, low-pressure night to tie, be tied, explore, and enjoy being together through rope.

What to expect:

💬 Easy conversations, laughter, and connection
🪢 Space for your rope: from soft, playful ties to focused practice or deeper scenes
✨ An open, welcoming atmosphere where the night unfolds naturally

During the evening, we’ll introduce a Rope Speed Dating Circle for those who feel curious to join.

This is a playful, guided space where you can meet new people through short rope interactions, explore different dynamics, and experience connection in a light, structured way.

You’re welcome to participate, observe, or skip it entirely.
If you prefer to stay in your own flow, continue tying with your partner, or focus on your own practice, the space remains fully open for you.

To support this, extra tying spots will be kept free throughout the venue, so everyone can continue their experience without interruption.

At the same time, the entire venue remains open for independent rope practice and exploration.
Whether you’re tying on the floor or using suspension points, the space is yours to shape.

To attend this event, you need to have attended a Consent Workshop or be vetted by someone from our community through the InFLUX code-sharing system.

What happens at the event?

🕖 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm — Registration
🕗 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm — Rope Speed Dating Circle (optional, playful, might extend if the mood allows)
🕘 9:00 pm – 01:00 am — Tying & Socialising

Please be on time so as not to disturb other participants. We cannot guarantee that someone will be available to open the door for you after closing time.

The area has many parking spaces, especially in the evening or after 6 pm. The metro station at “1 Decembrie 1918” is the closest to us and it’s only 8 minutes away, on foot.

Take the small elevator (it’s behind the large stairs on the ground floor) to the 5th floor, where you will see the sign for InFLUX. One more flight of stairs up, and you’re there. If mobility issues prevent you from climbing up a flight of stairs, you can take the large elevator, which will take you straight to our door, but that one is much slower.

Who can come?

🌈 This hangout welcomes everyone; all genders, sexualities, and bodies.

We reserve the right to select event participants.

What are you bringing?

If you’re planning to tie, bring your ropes and any gear you love working with.
You’re also welcome to bring items that support your rope practice: safety shears, blankets, aftercare items, or anything that helps you feel prepared and comfortable.

We also have community ropes available for those who don’t yet have their own set. These are perfect for floor work and exploration, but please note they are not suitable for suspensions.

No obligation to play, just the invitation.

We follow a BYO (Bring Your Own) approach for drinks and snacks at InFLUX. Water, tea, and coffee are always available, and you’re welcome to bring your own soft drinks, snacks, or little treats for the evening. You can read more about it here.

Who organises this event?

Băje has been super passionate about ropes since 2013, participating in multiple workshops held in Romania or abroad by some of the most famous riggers.

Amarpas (she/her/they/them) is a veteran of the community with nearly a decade of experience tying, creating connections, and leading workshops; she has created her own niche for play. She has been passionate about learning rope for almost a decade and discovered her passion for educating others over 5 years ago. She loves teaching people and being a reliable guide at the beginning of their journey. Amarpas brings passion and solid knowledge with a no-nonsense approach to kink.
